This unit controls the two inputs to the lamp as well as the logic that switches between those two inputs.
- Touchpad lighting control: Simple arithmetic converts absolute positions from the touchpad into 5 horizontal slider positions (one for each color red, green, blue, yellow, white), and 22 vertical brightness intensity values. The RCM2200 translates the values into commands which are sent to the lamp shades. The touchpad controls each shade separately or in combination, while addressing all clusters of one color individually.
- Ethernet control: Commands following some defined logic are read from the network, and interpreted as control for a <Shade,Color,Cluster,Brightness> tuple.
- Control logic: Three backlit buttons (two green and one red) control the source for input to the LED Lamp:
- Red ON: inputs to the LED Lamp are ignored (the LED Lamp is turned OFF).
- Green buttons (left and/or right) ON: touchpad control for the respective shade(s).
- All off: control for the LED Lamp is taken from the network.
